The Veldt is a story that shows that advanced technology can be an asset to helping to keep up with busy schedules in life but it brings to the forefront the ultimate importance of maintaining communication. Although the house was equipped with everything to supply their needs and desires, it eventually becomes a stressor as opposed to happiness. Because of lack of communication between the parents and children, the children created a world of their own that actually came to life and consumed the parents. #Dgst101
